Team Enablement

Your internal team owns the platform - they can operate it, extend it, and explain it without calling us.

The Problem

Consulting that ends with a handoff document no one reads doesn't build capability - it builds dependency. Real enablement means your team understands the architecture, can debug failures, and can onboard new data sources on their own. That requires working alongside them, not just handing over an artifact.

What You Get

  • Architecture documentation written for your team's level
  • Operational runbooks for common failure scenarios
  • Onboarding guide for extending pipelines or the platform
  • Pair-programming sessions on key components
  • Recorded walkthroughs of critical systems

Stack & Tools

Any stack we've built or that your team is inheriting. Commonly: Databricks, dbt, Apache Airflow, Spark, Delta Lake, Python, and OT connectivity layers. Explicit goal is client independence, not ongoing dependency.

How We Work

Phase 1

Discovery

Assess your team's current skills, identify gaps relative to the platform they're inheriting, and define what 'capable and independent' looks like for them specifically.

Phase 2

Design

Build an enablement plan - which topics need live sessions vs. documentation, who owns what after handoff, and how we'll validate understanding.

Phase 3

Build

Execute the plan: pair programming, documentation sprints, live architecture walkthroughs, and worked examples using your actual data.

Phase 4

Enablement

Run a capstone exercise where your team leads and we observe. Address gaps. Define a short support window with clear exit criteria.

Right for You If…

  • You're wrapping up a build engagement and need your team ready to own the output
  • You hired engineers who need to get up to speed on your stack quickly
  • Your team can operate the platform but can't confidently extend or explain it
  • You want documentation that reflects how the system actually works, not a vendor template

What You'll Need to Bring

  • A working system or platform to enable against - this is not a training-from-scratch engagement
  • Team members who are allocated time to participate, not just attend
  • A clear definition of what independence looks like for your team
